The Alehouse:

Here you'll find a world of extraordinary tastes waiting to be explored on draft including our year-round beers, rotating seasonals, as well as a few unique Pyramid offerings you won't find anywhere else. Enjoy a pint, explore a Pyramid Sampler, or order a growler of brewery fresh beer to go. Pair your brew with a tasty selection off of our full menu of classic brew house cuisine.

Our Berkeley Alehouse is just a few miles from the University of California at Berkeley campus. This renovated warehouse space is both a brewery and a gathering place that's become an East Bay landmark.

Tours:

Every day at 4:00pm All of our tours offer a wealth of knowledge on the brewing process, the history of Pyramid Breweries, and of course, some tasty samples including Thomas Kemper Soda for those under 21. Tours generally last about 45 minutes

Banquet Info:

Whether it is a special occasion, a corporate function or just an opportunity to gather with family and friends, the Pyramid Alehouse will make the occasion a truly special one for you and your guests. We are able to accommodate parties for appetizers and beverages, buffet meals or sit-down dinners in our private rooms for up to 200 people. Whenever possible we will tailor the event and space to the needs and desires of your group.

From Oakland:

Take I-880 northbound to I-80 towards Berkeley/Sacramento. In Berkeley, exit at Gilman Street. Turn right at exit, the brewery is ahead on the left between 7th and 8th Streets.

From San Francisco:

Take the I-80 Bay Bridge and follow signs towards Berkeley/Sacramento. In Berkeley, exit at Gilman Street. Turn right at exit, the brewery is ahead on the left between 7th and 8th Streets.

From Sacramento and North:

Take I-80 westbound to Gilman Street exit in Berkeley. Turn left at exit, the brewery is ahead on the left between 7th and 8th Streets. View Map
