Hefeweizen Beer Can Chicken

Chicken

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 12oz can Pyramid Hefeweizen

Spice Rub

  • 2 tbl salt
  • 2 tbl granulated garlic
  • 1 tbl celery seed
  • 1 lemon, juiced
Directions: 

  1. Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees
  2. Pat the chicken dry and rub the spice mixture over evenly
  3. Pierce three holes in the top of the can and carefully place the can into the chicken, pierced side first
  4. Roast for 35 minutes
  5. Remove can and cut the chicken in half; place on a heated grill to char the skin – enjoy!
