Hefeweizen Grilled Chicken Wings
2 lbs Chicken Wings
1 12 oz. Pyramid Hefeweizen
1 small onion, diced
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 lemons, juiced
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tbl salt
1 tbl black pepper
¼ cup olive oil
1 lemon, juiced
1 tbl garlic, minced
¼ cup mixed fresh herbs (oregano, rosemary, thyme), chopped
Salt & Pepper to taste
Rinse wings in cold water and pat dry.
Mix all ingredients for marinade in a large bowl.
Let chicken wings marinate for 4 – 24 hours, covered, in the fridge.
Grill wings over medium-low heat for 20 minutes or until done, turning frequently to keep the chicken from burning.
Mix all ingredients for the wing sauce in a large bowl.
Place cooked wings in the sauce bowl and toss to coat.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
