Pyramid Breweries Launches New Juggernaut Red Ale to Fuel Fall Festivities

TO FUEL FALL FESTIVITIES
New Fall Beer Brimming With Unstoppable Taste Compliments Strong Seasonal Lineup

SEATTLE – July 27, 2009 – Pyramid Breweries, home of the award winning Pyramid Haywire Hefeweizen™ and the 2008 Brewery of the Year¹, introduces Juggernaut Red Ale™, a ruby red fall seasonal beer sure to please many palates and accompany the season’s most ambitious autumn adventures.

New to Pyramid’s line-up, Juggernaut is an American Red ale brimming with delectable caramel malts, delicious hops and an unquenchable spirit. Five different malts produce a rich red color and balanced malt body highlighted by subtle caramel notes. The perfect amount of Simcoe and Cascade hops compliments the full malt character to create a luscious hop nose and finish.

Juggernaut joins a strong industry-leading seasonal portfolio for Pyramid Breweries including Curve Ball Blonde Ale® (Summer), Snow Cap Ale® (Winter) and a new spring beer launching in February 2010.

Juggernaut will be available August through September on draft and in 12 and 22 oz. bottles, 6-packs, and 12-packs. The new fall brew will also be one of four offerings within Pyramid’s new Fall Variety 12-pack – sitting alongside of Pyramid Haywire Hefeweizen, Audacious Apricot Ale™, and ThunderHead IPA®. Juggernaut and the Fall Variety Pack will be available where Pyramid’s other award winning beers can be found.
